This charming restaurant at 5782 Hollister Ave invites you to start your day with a warm, inviting atmosphere that feels like a home away from home. From the moment you step through the door, the enticing aroma of freshly brewed coffee and sizzling skillets fills the air, setting the perfect stage for an unforgettable meal.

Domingo's Cafe truly shines with its diverse menu, expertly bridging classic American breakfast staples and rich, vibrant Mexican dishes. Imagine sinking your teeth into a hearty Breakfast Burrito bursting with savory chorizo and fluffy eggs, or savoring the robust flavors of Huevos Rancheros, where sunny-side-up eggs rest atop hand-crafted tortillas drenched in a smoky, tangy ranchero sauce. For those seeking comfort in a bowl, the traditional Menudo, bursting with tender tripe and a rich broth, warms you from the inside out, especially when paired with a cup of their velvety Hot Chocolate or bold, aromatic coffee.

Amidst their standout dishes, the New Mexico Style Enchiladas special of the day is a feast for the senses, wrapped in a soft corn flour tortilla and accompanied by Posole adorned with oregano, pepper flakes, lemon, diced onions, and cilantro—each bite a vibrant celebration of southwestern spice and tradition. Pancakes and French Toast enthusiasts are treated to perfectly golden, fluffy creations, while savory options like the Chorizo Scramble or the Chicken Enchilada Omelette satisfy deeply rooted cravings with every flavorful bite.

Whether you come with family, friends, or simply for a quiet morning retreat, the staff’s genuine warmth and attentive service elevate every visit. As Naomi C. shared, the servers’ kindness made her first experience outstanding, and Mike Miranda echoes this sentiment, highlighting the restaurant as a fantastic, family-friendly spot where comfort and connection flourish.

The rustic charm of this "old style cafe," as B Curtis eloquently puts it, blends a touch of ancient Spanish culinary tradition with quality home-style cooking, creating a unique dining experience steeped in authenticity. The lack of loud music allows for relaxed conversations, making it an ideal locale for a leisurely breakfast or brunch.

Chef Robert Olivares captures the essence perfectly, describing the moment of walking through the door as being greeted by a "scent of deliciousness" and a cozy feel that instantly soothes. Whether savoring the Pork Chili Verde Omelet or the crowd-favorite French Toast, every dish here is crafted with care, bursting with freshness and bold flavor combinations.

With so many tempting options—from the King Burger to the Santa Barbara Omelette with hash browns, to lighter fare like the Veggie Burger or fresh fruit and waffle—you are sure to find the meal that satisfies your craving. Walking to the door there was the scent of deliciousness wafting through the air. Once in the place had a welcoming cozy feel. We were greeted immediately by the friendly staff. It felt like moments later I was seated with a hot cup of black coffee. For breakfast I was torn between the Chorizo Scramble and the Pork Chili Verde Omelet with hash browns. Our server Sierra suggested the omelet and it was a great suggestion. The carne was tender and flavorful, it went well with the cheese filled fluffy omelet. The hash browns were perfectly crispy and went well with the house salsa. It wasn’t spicy for me but I enjoyed the flavor. (My wife says I have eaten so much spicy food that I can’t taste spice anymore.) My breakfast came with sourdough toast and I know there was jelly on the table but the salsa verde with the buttered bread was a better combination for me. My wife went with bacon, avocado and cheese omelet with home fries and wheat toast. The home fries were perfectly seasoned and cooked. This is a great place to come in and have a good meal, enjoy friendly attentive service and quiet enough for a intimate conversation.

This old style cafe is a GEM. Some of the best quality real home style cooking with a touch of ancient Spain. Friendly warm hearted staff. Very popular with the locals. Quite no loud music very very good

Locals have been flocking to Domingo’s for years where they serve terrific food. I’ve never had lunch here, always breakfast and it has always been delicious. The employees are all very nice and friendly, our waitress Victoria was no exception. We ordered the Sacramento Mish Match, it was delicious. We also ordered the chili rellano with eggs it was scrumptious.

Service was very friendly! I asked for a medium cooked steak and I actually got it! So many places overcook their steaks. Coffee was delicious :) hash browns were surprisingly seasoned slightly, very delicious. Definitely my new favorite breakfast place, it's too bad it's so far away

This place was advertised as having the best hashbrowns around. And they do! The biscuits and gravy were excellent, the bacon was done perfectly. And the chili Verde omelette was supreme! I highly recommend it. Great atmosphere. Very reasonably priced.
